So this year, (the year of COVID) we were so happy to hear they were open for takeout. The food was as delicious as ever. We ordered through their online order system. The food was ready on-time. When I went in to pay, I felt very safe. They require masks and had a glass between me and the cashier.
When we got back to our place, the food was hot and delicious. I got the lamb & beef gyro. The pita wrap was perfect. Not a drop of sogginess which says how lean their meat is. We can't wait to go back for more! read less

Back to Yanni's...delicious!!!!!!! Nice decor and welcoming atmosphere! Our server Mary was fast and friendly, highly recommend asking for Mary! From the coffee all the way to the orange slices on my Greek omelette was amazing!!! Great home fries!! It's not the cheapest place around but it was definitely worth the money!!!! Steak was... read moreI ordered the steak and shrimp with roasted veggies and mashed potatoes for takeout. It was soooo good!! Steak was cooked medium rare perfectly, the mashed potatoes were flavorful, veggies were delicious, and shrimp were also fresh and yummy. Couldn't ask for more. The dish was perfect. And definitely a large amount of food, too. I saved half for lunch tomorrow! Still thinking about those mashed potatoes! Good ones are hard to come by.
I've also had a similar dish here with the lamb chops with sauteed spinach, mashed potatoes, and veggies. Also very good. The only thing I didn't like here was the hummus. It tasted like it was missing something and it wasn't very creamy. I will forgive them because everything else was so good.
My boyfriend got the California wrap and it looked incredible. He said he really enjoyed it. He opted for the Greek salad for a couple bucks more and they gave him such a large portion! We were both very happy. Looking forward to eating here again soon! read less

I love everything from the friendly and polite staff, the incredible food,the cleanliness down to the decorations! They serve incredibly delicious and generous food portions. I usually order egg whites bacon and home fries for breakfast and and iced sweet tea. Ive had the beef gyro platter (with fries) and I've had a chicken Cesar salad for lunch many times. Every time I get my food I enjoy it hot and fresh. I have never complained once about a thing. I appreciate the design of the restaurant it makes a very inviting comfortable place to gather and eat. During the holidays they get festive and decorate accordingly. It makes it a fun environment to be in. There is a yiannis cafe location at the ocean city aquatic and fitness center too....where I always order a banana almond milk with peanut butter shake after my workout or a chicken Cesar salad and even here they keep things orderly and fresh. The cooking oil they use is light and delicious you can purchase a bottle or gift it it's a gear Xmas present for people who love to cook and eat clean! Yiannis is a 10/10!!! read less

The crumbled feta and the vinaigrette were so fresh and good. It was a decent size salad for dinner & I couldn't even finish it. This restaurant is a great place if you are a vegetarian or are dining with someone who is. Staff and service were great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. read less
